you should have that "safely to remove hardware" in the task bar that is noramll it is done like that cause the DVD RW drive is ment to be hot swapable

my 8004WLMI laptop came with an X700 that has 128mb ram so check the stats of the lap top it might have 128mb ram after all

just found this new program called Centrino Hardware Control you can use it to change fan speeds and read temp .. skruer what laptop do you have nad how long have you had it

i tryed that and i tryed speed fan but speed fan always says it is 10c cooler that that mobile meter. mobile meter =60c and speedfan=50c so i dont know withc to belive . i also have a question about the fan it comes on but is not...
