I just bought an NP9285. I have the BIOS set to use RAID and have configured the drives such that I have one 160GB SSD as the C: and the 2 other 160GB SSDs as a RAID0 320GB Array (D: ). I have an external drive Fantom MDE2000 to use for...
I just thought I'd post an update. AFter mu switch to 602 MHz on 2/22/2010 I haven't had any video noise. Of course having written that, It will probably crop up again.
I'm not sure. It's been a few days. I've installed ntune and found the clock settings at 575MHz for core bus and 700MHz for memory. I clocked it back to 575 and 602. We'll see what happens. If it doesn't happen for a while, I'll set them...
OK. The problem is back. I've tried the original Sager drivers (156.76) as well as the newest found on the nvidia site (179.48) and the ones that can be downloaded via windows update (179.67). I think it's a windows update problem. For...

I just heard back from tech support. Port 0 is the one closest to the keyboard in the bay with the 2 drive stack. I'm guessing that Port 1 is the one farthest from the keyboard in the stack and that Port 2 is under the battery.
This has been fixed. It turns out it was a Windows XP problem. I tried several different driver versions and even re-installed XP. At some point it downloads an update that starts the problem. I got fed up with it happening and...
I know it's the Port 0 drive. I have a RAID 5, so I'm using all 3 internal bays. Which one is Port 0? The Intel Matrix Storage Manager just tells me the failure is on Port 0.
I have an intermittent failure on Port 0 of my RAID 5 array. What drive is Port 0? The drives are not labelled internally. I have a new drive I'd like to swap in. Any help would be appreciated.
