You'll be able to configure a DV4000 with the X700 by month's end, I think it was the 28th.

XP Professional can only run 32 bit programs, whereas the latter can run 32 and 64 bit programs, and so is more future proof. I've heard it can also run some 32 bit programs faster as well, but I'm not sure on that.

Every DV1000 and DV4000 in stores has the BrightView option. The only way to get a standard, matte screen is to custom order one through HP. Actually, I did get a DV1000 at my Fry's Electronics with a matte screen a few months back.

The DV1000's doesn't come with ExpressCard, but the DV4000 does. I agree that the DV4000 is a little big for me, I really wanted the DV1000 but I got such a great deal on mine. I wish there was a way to put a X700 into my DV4000. X700...
