Hey, Just wondering what other people with 8600s were getting in the hd tach tests (quick). I've poked around and it seems that the average for the 7k60 in the 8600 is about 30 MB/s (avg) but my results are around 22 MB/s, Seek time...

The ADA88x are killer speakers. Humph, bought mine 5 years ago for $300 CAD. Steal of a deal for the 885s @$75 USD if you ask me (although their refurbs). (Also have some Etymotic ER-6s).

Confirmed it was my media. Looks like the firmware is okay and I am able to burn both DVD-/+R/RW!

Did this a couple of days ago... getting mixed results going to try a different dvd-r media brand (currently using some cheapy one) (it burns okay, but when I do the copy back to the hard drive test, I get CRC errors)
