Compared to any other notebbok with a radeon 9600 video card it is light as a feather.

My 8600 is awesome. I love it. Light, powerful, and long battery life......perfect.

I have three dell laptops......they are perfect. No issues.

My screen is absolutly perfect!(Samsung)WSXGA+

Man this is gonna sound kinda strange, but all this talk of refurbs is making me want to buy an 8500. I already have three Dell notebooks: an 8600, 5100, and an 1100. I think I need to see a shrink!
