hey guys, completely forgot bout this forum but thought id make a quick point i have the amilo 1437g, and had the brr problem however Borkar gave me a flash file for the gpu and a specific driver and since then, i reckon about 8 months...

um smart only works wit ide drives, the ones in the amilos r sata so u shud get no smart options what so ever. mine shows a greyed out screen adn u get no errors dev

r u guys talking about momentary freezing, like on mp3s when it will jus go bzzz for a split second then carry on, or on vids where a similar thing happens except vid freezes as well if so i hav an amilo 1437g and i get the same...

prob is that lightweight and dedicated gfx dont really go together that well imho small light laptops shud not b used for gaming as they r not up to it if u r willing to go for a mid range fairly thin lappy go for the amilo m 1437g....

i have had an ipod, an iriver h320, iriver h10 and a multitude of sony products over the years. i have to say, the h320 and my old sony md player are the best in terms of sound, and i mean with proper headphones rather than the shite...

i jus use chc on dynamic switchin and ati tt to underclock the gfx to 280/240 that keeps it runnin a bit cooler and still gives me ample power for most tasks dev
