You can also wait for the Sony FJ series, 14inch widescreen with the top end model probably having X700. It may also cost less since its the consumer series rather than the business series.

The latest MCE is basically Pro with the extra Media Center applications included and a couple of Pro features disabled. If you use a trick to re-enable those features MCE is identical to Pro (except for the extra applications of course).
