I second that notion for the Seagate 100gb HD. I have one and it is great. No idea about Fujitsu's, but most will recommend Seagate as top of the line and it might be worth it in the long run if you can afford it.
V500 has the best reviews from what I've seen on other sites. The V400 *looks* good for a notebook owner, but no one seems to own one. I can't comment on the others mentioned as of yet except the mx1000 and G7, which both received avg....
Just have the one since I have no need for extended mobility. 5 batteries??? That's crazy! And by crazy I mean expensive and heavy (if you are lugging all them around all the time).
No. Bluetooth mice are few and far between unfortunately. The highest recommended being the Microsoft M60 from what I've heard.
