I don't think US Alienware will ship to the UK. They will just tell you to order from the UK. So unless you know someone there who can forward it on to you, you don't have much choice.

Not much more you can upgrade on that, it's already pretty maxed out. You could put in a 5700 or 9700 GPU, but (1) you can't buy them anymore, and (2) nobody is likely gonna sell you theirs.

You shouldn't have to go into the BIOS. Just pop in the Windows XP cd and reboot. Then hit a key when it asks you.

They are the same. The 5500 name was only added after the 7700 came out.
