ahh well if that dll works, ill make a vb.net app wendsday with a brightness slider and a timer option or somthing of that sort, ill also try to put it in a .scr for those who perfer that.

k i got everything to do it, i need to get fimilar with the platform system dev kit, shouldn;t take me long as i have not had any projects comming in at work ill keep ya posted and ill host from my web server when complete

figured out how to do it, pretty easy accully. BUT i need a stupid header file ( Ntddvdeo.h, from Windows Driver Development Kit (DDK).) sooooo if anyone has/ or can get that, PM me and ill make whip up a software dimmer lickity...
