Dual core will improve gaming if games are multi threaded. More and more new games support dual core every day. Go for Core Duo, you can switch it with 667mhz Merom later on. (they are pin compatible)

I don't like natural environments mod. Used v1.0 before and colors looks crap, doesn't look realistic at all.

Go for Shuttle unless you need mobility.
