I originally argued with MD on this issue but I've come to agree with him so I passed on the 8790 and bought a "cheap" 8600 to hold me until Q4/04 Q1/05 when PCI-Express and the M12 or its successor should be available.
So the Hitachi WSXGA+ screens are gone???

But it has the Open-GL Optimizations right? If it is like the 9600/Fire GL, then games won't run quite as fast as the non-GL part. This makes me think the M10-P may still have the advantage in performace unless you can use regular 5700...
