I ordered mine at the end of Oct and got a LG LCD. Same results as Maine_Coon..... looks great! Maybe Dell and LG were working out quality issues for that time????

The backpack that Dell sells is very nice. I got one and use it all the time. I just go from my house to the truck to work so if your walking in rain/snow I can't help you but for what I ask of it, it works great.

Or he could get the 9300 with the X300 and Warranty and upgrade to the 6800go when he can buy it with cash.

Just FYI I orderd my 9300 on the 15th and they started build on the 17th and I had it at my home on the 21st. I would bet you will see it before next weekend

I just push the little plastic pin at the top of the laptop base (above the volume keys on my D600) and the LCD turns off.
