Z83V will be delayed another week at least, Asus USA received the shippment with wrong power cords.
( Couple of weeks ago they received wrong bluetooth adaptor, USB ones instead of internal ones for Z70Va )

I don't feel the fan really noisy with Z70Va. This depends on quite you expect and how sensitive you are.

We have people coming in to upgrade memory all the time, including Asus, toshiba, dell..., I will say use different names will have no problem under 90% of time, but you do have chance of incompitability.
