Ah, I mispoke. Not dual-core, but the Intel CoreDuo. That's what I'm looking for. How about that? I already knew about the AMD's Sorry about that.
Is anybody manufacturing (or planning on releasing soon) a dual core system with a 17" widescreen, IEEE1394, and GeForce FX1400Go graphics? I had hopes that the rumored Dell M90 would be a 17" Dual Core version of the M70, but...
Hopefully there will be one with Quadro FX Go1400... Maybe the M90?
Budgeting is completed and someday soon (relative to the speed of corporate politics) I'll be requesting a laptop for work. The Dell M70 is a close fit, but it doesn't have firewire. I'd like a 17" widescreen with the Intel...

Thanks for all of the reply's guys. I really appreciate it. I was suprised that the performance of the M processor was so good, too. Yeah, it doesn't beat the desktop processors at everything, but it did best it on some of the scenes...
I'm a 3D modeler/animator and Video editor at the company I work for. I'm drawing up the budget info for next year and am trying to make a choice between a new desktop system or a notebook system. My problem is that I've not been able to...
