Get the new Latitude line, I'm not sure if they changed the model numbers or not. The previous D620 was a solid and OLD design. The newer Latitude (came out last week) looks much better IMO.

Get the 9300 and keep the desktop. sleep on the couch for a couple days if that's what it takes. Getting the 6000d is not a good decision even for $650.
That sucks....when I have to go somewhere with my 9300 I keep it in the trunk - I have a convertible too and it generally worries me. How would the person have known a lappy was in the trunk?
