I could care less about high definition DVD's. I'm still using a 25" CRT TV and that won't change anytime soon. I remember the DVD vs Divx format war. DVD made a big difference over VHS but the current DVD format is fine with me....
I love the WXGA+ screen on my 9300. I was able to use the lappy at a bar yesterday with the sun shining behind me - would not have been possible with the "True Life" display.

What about a new 610M? Integrated graphics is getting so well today that it's acceptable for all but the highest-performance games with a picky player.
I saw that too, but I'm going to wait for the next version.

I paid $832 for my 1100 and sold it 25 months later for $500. In essence it cost me $332 to use a laptop for 2 years which is acceptable.
