i am back to my crashing problems... i have switched to 84.66 drivers...need to wait for more crashes

i am back to crashing days ...same problem...system freezes randomly...this has already happened 8 times today...i will try to look for resolution for next couple of days, else I will RMA back the unit.

i did not get the X2 sticker...how do I get it now?

i too have the audigy 2 pcmcia model..you first need to update the bios, restart, save the bios and then update your driver

mine was solved..i too had a similar problem...on the day I got the laptop, there were more than 20 crashes ...the screen would just freeze...but i had nvidia corrupt driver problem also. I could not go to the nvidia panel at all...once...

Ken, I used Winflash and was able to successfully flash the bios... i also updated by drivers by giving manual driver selection..i selected 7600 GS from the list, because it was the nearest matching one... hopefully, the crashing...
