I had the same problem with the same drive in the 5680. I uninstalled "In CD" software and it works perfectly. Give it a shot.

I have the SXGA+ and I like it very much. The screen is clear and crisp. I for one am happy that I got the SXGA+. If the fonts were any smaller. I would have a difficult time seeing them. I really don't need the wide angle either....
