I'll stick with the 2.2 128 and put the $425 to 1/3rd of the lens i need to buy! Thanks
I got the 2.2 128 but now rethinking as I may want to use Aperture instead of Adobe Lightoom now and use a 30" external display. If the 128 can handle Aperture OK then I will stick with it and use the $400 or so for other gear I need!

As this is going to be my main machine (with external screen) I thought i should max it out with the 256MB VRAM. I would get extra 2Gb RAM from a good supplier other than Apple as they charge way too much. I dont have the cash to get...
Yes I believe Aperture does work off the GPU and is memory hungry. Also I may want to drive two screens off the MBP in a dual monitor setup. Would the extra VRAM help here?
P.S I may want to dual-boot with Windows XP
I am about to buy a 15in Macbook Pro. I have to decide between the 2.2HHz and the 2.4Ghz. The 2.4Ghz includes 256Mb Video RAM and a larger hard drive. Either way I will order the MBP with a 160Gb 7200 hard drive. I am a pro...
