no company has started making 2GB SoDIMM. as for XP with 4Gb RAM, there is a thing called PAE. Physical address extension? it allows more than 3.5G limit. and yes vista accepts more then 3.5G limit.. i believe the limit here is based...
the nx/nw is the class for me, cause i have external batteries and docking station.

another thing you might want to consider.. the laptop keyboard.. has got some plastic laminating underneath.. just cut out the plastic that comes in contact with the metal plate below.. then the whole keyboard becomes a heat sink...

anyone knows if i can use a seagate momentus 7200.1 sata on nx8220? or i have to get PATA? i heard that the chipset for nx8220 supports sata right? what about the advanced docking station? is it sata or pata?
