Yep -- but the original post mentioned this would be used to connect to a Linksys 802.11g router, which is why I'd recommend sticking with a g card.

I've noticed mine can be a little touchy. Once I get a card most of the way in, sometimes it takes a little wiggle to get it to seat correctly.
You might also want to take a look at the thread I started on Gentoo on the 4780. If there's a way to get the ATI drivers working at 100% on the 4780, I haven't found it. Neither the kernel AGP modules or the one internal to the ATI...
