Depends on how you measure performance, and what apps you use, but generally you'll be better off with more RAM than you would be with a faster hard drive.
Should you RMA because a testing program says there are artififacts that aren't there? No, of course not.
There are plenty of things that can cause false readings from the artifact tester... you might want to read the documentation...

Standby and suspend work just fine here. Suspend will ocassionally hang if I've got something strange plugged into the USB hub, but otherwise no problems.
Since the WSXGA+ screen is soon to be available on the 8790, I'm curious if the same upgrade will be available for the 4780. As I understand it, they're built on the same chassis, and share the same video subsystems.
