I would uninstall the old drivers first. Go here ( http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.html ) and grab Driver Cleaner Pro. There is a readme inside the archive that will explain how to uninstall and clean your existing drivers.

It will be up to you whether you want to attempt the mod on your GPU. I don't play either of those games on the XPS, but I would guess a 10 - 15% boost in framerates over current rates. Unlocking 4 pipes will net you about 600 3DMark03...
