If you click on run, and type msconfig, go to startup and uncheck the ferrariwp box, that will disable the ferrari wallpaper, because it's a program rather than a static image. Hope that helps!

You're not the only one, i recently had the same trouble but like mcdill said, i downloaded catalyst 5.10 and everything seems to be working fine now.
I've also installed 5.10 with atiTools and i seem to get the same thing as Char1320, atiTools doesn't seem to know how fast my graphics card is going. Nonetheless i'm happy that everything is working well. As for Chriscatt's question,...
I just downloaded the mod tool and installed the latest catalyst 5.10. Everything works beautifully and i no longer have that annoying white line at the bottom of the screen. Beautiful ^_^
You could try hitting FN + F7m to turn it off then on again? Good luck!
You're right, i get the same thing. I play with a headset so i normally adjust the volume on the headset itself. No biggie though.
