well you can change teh boot.ini folder without actually deleting anything. All it does is tell the system where to look for windows. I could have 50 versions of windows on 50 partitions and if the boot.ini file only pointed to one,...

i have it. been running it for 10 minutes now. So far no difference but i'll keep you posted.
i'm assuming they are on seperate partitions. First off make sure you did in fact install it twice. Look at your disk and make sure you can see all of it and that you have 2 actual installs. I suspect what happened is the boot.ini...
is that mobile catalyist driver the same as the normal catalyist driver using the mobility converter?
basicly i learned by messing around. I'd read something about making my computer faster, or would be messing with settings and break something important. then I learn a ton digging through documentation until I figure out how to fix it.
