What are the chances of frying the card? I have a friend who would like to unlock the pipes on his card, but is not willing to fry his video card. Anyone care to encourage/discourage? EDIT: two more questions: how is the 9800 mobility...

Would it work for me to just go into bios and underclock the processor in the 4080 to around 1 ghz? I know it wouldn't be very convenient but if it would work I might go with the Sager.
dual channel ram only means that if you put 2 sticks of memory in, the computer will split the data in half and read and write half to one stick and half to the other, kind of like raid 0 for hard drives... it increases the performance...
I am still trying to decide between the Toshiba 5205-S119 and the Sager NP4080. It seems the only downside of the Sager besides the fact that it has no subwoofer is the low battery life. Are there ways to squeeze more battery life out...
also, doesn't the sager have a second bay so that you can use the main battery + 2nd battery + cdrw/dvd or main battery + 2nd battery + 3rd battery? anyone know what the bay battery options are and how much they cost and more...
