I had the crack on the hinge of my 8790, i sent it in a few weeks ago and just got it back yesterday, they replaced it iwth a new one. So just send it in and you'll be fine! =)

My 8790 is the first laptop i've ever owned, and i can say that i have had a very large number of problems with it, and its been the most problimatic computer i've ever had, but dispite that, its one of the best computers i've ever owned...

It did increase my FPS, but i believe this is only because my hardware was faulty, and the update fixed it, i would not reccomend using the bios update unless you are experiencing major artifact problems.

if you have the 8790 use the sager drivers, or actually, i would reccomend the newest omega drivers, just do a google search for them, and if you don't have any problems, i wouldn't worry about the new bios upgrade, and you shouldn't be...
