a notebook of this calibur can't have this limitation. whatever the issue is(if there is one), it really needs to be addressed somehow. maybe that's what the delay is

there is hope, however. just based on various photos of the D900T(sager 9890), the pin count of the DVI sure looks like a dual-link. let's cross our fingers that the D900K will be also.
yeah, i'm really hoping for the same thing cuz am planning to do the same as you are. in order to do 1920x1200, it has to be a DVI dual-link interface(max 2048x1536 resolution). if it's single-link, then it maxes out at 1600x1200. ...
