I was having the same problem and found this post with the search. THANK YOU
zakaluka2, Thanks for the info. I could fit it into my day pack, but it really isn't designed for it, as you already know. I could also probably fit it in the pack for my HydraStorm. I just don't see the need since I won't be...
The installed wireless in your Sager will work just fine with the WGT624. My 8790 works great with my WGT624. You don't need the Netgear PCMCIA wireless card. Windows XP shows my connection to be 108.
Well, it is apparent that I'm not going to convence you. I have a fair amount of experience with both and that is the result that I have seen. I started in this business/hobby 21 years ago and have worked with both at home and at work...
It won't fix the main problem, but do you have a fire wire cable that would fit them both? It is a very fast way to transfer. Also, if you check the Netgear WGT624 at Buy.com you will see that the price is way below what you expect...

The heat issue is what I have against AMD. All of their processors I have owned and all of the ones I have used at work run hot. Even with extra fans. They aren't bad processors, but the heat issue is a deal killer for me.
I wouldn't blame it on just your system yet. I owned an 8887 (1 week) when Hyper-threading came out. When we all updated our BIOS we all started having the same standby (and hibernate) problem. Some were worse than others. It never...
