Ok. Well in no way did I say that the asus w3j is a rival to the 8204. I just said that you get almost as good of a performance as the 8204. He listed smaller type laptops, so I figured he was interested in something that is smaller....

How about trying out that Asus w3j instead of the dell or sony: http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=150421 It has almost the same 3Dmark score as the 8204, but its lighter with no webcam.

Hey, I was wondering what your battery life is like? Also, What is that G-sensor thing like? Does it tell you when the laptop is being moved? And does it lock the harddrive pin in place until the laptop is done moving? Have you tried...

Thanks for the info wynand32. I'm leaning towards the 8204, because of the better performance. The premium model of the new sonys come in carbon fiber while the standards come in magnesium. Its still not as good looking as the 8204 tho....

Wow, that 13.3 inch sony sz is insane... up to 6 hours of battery life... roughly a score of 2000 on 3dmark 05... and the case is made of carbon fiber(?). All this for the premium model. Very expensive tho.. I'd still lean toward acer.....
