hey, when i had problem with my bluetooth to my phone, i completely uninstalled the generic bluetooth adapter from the device manager (under bluetooth radios). i then let windows detect the phone and reinstall everything, and it worked....

since it boots the other windows installation, then it isn't a hardware problem. sometimes you have to load the drivers for the hard drive again, but they make that option pretty clear during the installation.
