Yes, I did get it. I haven't been on that same network since then, but I was on another wireless network recently with no problems. So I think my computer was never the problem.
I love attending LAN parties (though I usually host them) and while everyone else is plugging in cables and moving heavy equipment, I just pull out my Sager 5720, connect the power and network, and I'm ready to burn!

I've experienced more problems with Hibernate than with Standby.
Valkarth, check for any scheduled tasks that may be waking your computer to run, or unique power settings like "wake on LAN" or something similar.
