Talk about confusing. "4.40 is newer than 5.30c" actually sounds very illogical. In any case, what I'm using now has the (complete) number 5.1.2600.530, and I'll think I'll stick to that for now.
Try the drivers on Via's website? Put the drivers on a CD? I don't know what else to tell you.
