For sure it does, but for me overclocking is already a tradition. Even my two celeron300A both still run smoothly @450MHz each on my dual board and they are already older than I thought they might ever get
And I am glad that I took the 9cell and not the 6cell cause battery time can't be long enough and with the 9cell I get 5-6 hours for low cpuload works like surfing, email, office, programming (with few compiling steps in between).

If you don't wanna play but instead need long batterie times I suggest to take integrated graphics - as integrated graphics consumes less power.
I never saw a wuxga but I can say for sure that I never again wanna go back from wsxga+ to lower res displays
