Why would someone set the cpu to a constant frequency and not use speedstep? If you would have set the highest to use multiplier in nhc to a value that matches 1ghz and use dynamic switching you would have the 1ghz if you need it but...

Funnily 802 stopped my i6000 from entering hybernation or suspend to ram. And an older version had no simple way (via right click menu of the bt icon) to turn off bluetooth, which is a feature I musn't miss.

Did you install the bt update on dells website, cause it solved all problems for me. Afaik you can also install widcomm stacks, but that did not change much for me except that suspend to ram and disk did not work any longer.
I don't think chc or nhc are right with their wear lvl, cause my battery is only 3 month old and one day jumped from 3% wear lvl to 11% and was stuck there for over a month now and than suddenly jumped down to 9% where it is stuck for...

2.26 ghz do work in i6000 - cause pinmodded 1.7 p-m work in it the stock 2.26 p-m works as well.
I almost never run on full brightness, so i can't tell how long it would last in that setting. With brightness reduced 2 or 3 steps it lasts approximately 5 hrs when doing things like office or surfing.
