I use an external numpad, or the top rows if I don't bring it with me. Never thought about that one actually.
Get that panel off like the other poster said, and pull the two tabs out to either side until the ram chip pops up at about a 30 degree angle. Pull it out. Repeat for the chip underneath it. It's pretty much a brainless operation and...
My Ferrari uses a 90 watt adapter which I can get at almost any electronics/office supply store....the 8204 probably uses the same one, but I haven't looked it up. Get a universal adapter as they come with different plug-in tips to fit...

I don't think it will do over 2 gigs, but I'd like to know also for sure. I basically have the same machine with the updated bios installed.

Never mind....upgraded both both ram chips through the door in the bottom of the computer. Took longer to open the clamshell cases the ram came in than do the upgrade. DUH! :-) I saved about 80 bux on sale with two 1 gig pc 2700...
