You must have seperate issues...SP1 fixes a lot of issues with Vista, and does improve performance. I was in the beat tetsing team for SP1, with many people running it with no issues...
Vista shits all over XP...Vista doesnt kill video cards....tweaking and overclocking video cards kills video cards... I would most definately recommend Vista over XP...I promise you won't go back...
Is it just me or...are there others who find the Dell driver for the 7900GS the most stable... I have tried MANY different drivers from GeForce Tony, LV2GO etc...many builds...but they all seem to cause bad problems in games...COD4...
Batteries aren't covered after 6 months....even under CC. They are a "consumable" item.

The way I have done it when Vista is already installed is to install XP as normal (which will lose option to boot from Vista temporarily). Then install VistaBootpro onto XP. It detects the Vista installation and adds it to the boot menu.
