Right, firstly those RAM timings have currupted the Registry hive file "system" so the computer no longer boots. The RAM must be so crap not to be able to handle 2-2-2 timings, because even the cheapest of the cheap...

I'm not sure if it clocks itself down to a fixed level though or whether it is dynamic based on the temperature of the chip. Effectively yeah, it should be impossible to burn one up by not putting a HS on or seating it...
