Cleartype normally makes a mess of coolmod, though it seems to depend on the config (select cool bottom config with cleartype on if you want to see what I mean).
Though I have always prefered standard font aliasing to cleartype.

I think the zip is just the files without the installer (so you have to update via device manager) but the Mobility Radeon 9000 is already in there (listed, so it is installed automaticaly if you point the updater there) therefore...
