I use a cleaning cloth that I got with my glasses (for your eyes, not drinking from). Any stubborn marks, I dampen the cloth a bit.

I used to take my 14" 2kg ThinkPad T20 to school, which was fine and fitted nicely on the desk. I then upgraded to a 15.4" widescreen 3.6kg Fujitsu and it did take up more room, but manageable.

I use PQ DVD to iPod Video converter. Works great.
