wow that's amazing... Lucky you, i have mine undervolted and practically the same setup and my cpu idles at 45C, with a fairly cold room too...anything extra other than NHC and speedfan?

i prefer the overhang, makes it look more sophisitcated and different from all the other boxes out there

For the z70va do NOT put arctic silver on either side of the phase changing pad on the GPU. Doing so will cause the Arctic Silver to mix with the melted pad at high temperatures, completely destroying the phase change pad's normal...

but isn't it odd that the buzzing sound only comes on when the CPU is at max frequency _without_ load and on DC power? Since it doesn't happen in other situations, it seems like it might be some kind of manufacturing error? p.s. Live...

hey live i get the same wierd buzzing noise. The odd thing is that mine only comes on when i have the CPU at max frequency, without ac, and without actual load. as in, if i set my cpu to max performance with NHC, and i'm not actually...
