Hey guys. Now and then my laptop makes a weird beep code on startup, it has a phoenix notebios 6.1, but can't find the description for it anywhere. There is a long beep followed by two short ones.

Hey man, try reseating the ram again - i took mine out and replaced them again - no problem since, been about 4 days now ( I did replace them with original 512mb ram and also worked fine for weeks).

Hmmmm.... thats strange....have you tried reseating the ram modules? i read on another website this guy was having the same problem with his Toshiba-he reseated them and it was ok. Btw do you hear a "pop" come out of the left...
