I always have both fans on high when I play games. I assume that the GPU is cooled by both fans since it has heatpipes going to both.
I had trouble with the demo loading the map. The full game works the very best though.
Its not too heavy for me but I'm a big guy at 6'4'' 230lbs. I use the bag that came with the XPS, which is huge.

What kind of heat does the Pentium 4 generate in a laptop? I know the P4 in my desktop got quite warm.

I got 8 out of 10.
If you had your XPS2 for a few months or more than you may need to clean the dust out of the fans. Dust collects on the back vents and prevents air from flowing correctly.
