Well not sure what happened, but I went into safe mode and could see one as the display adapter and the other one was in the "other devices" category. So I went back in to a normal boot, and I could finally see it and update...

Does the Non SLI have a "dummy" cage in place of where the other core should be? I can distinctly see 3 fan cages in the back. maybe its an empty cage though

Reinstalled and rebooted and still nothing in control panel or or device manager. might try reinstall sp2 and see if it can pick it up...

K, I see 3 fans. Anyreason one of the cards isn't seen on a brand new install of xp... I'm thinking sp3 has something to do with it.

Hmm, where would one go in windows to find what it sees?
