Which USB port do you have your floppy plugged into? I beleive it has to be in the top, back one, any other usb port and it will not see the floppy drive. Hope this is your problem.

What about using NVIDIA nTune! Under the performance tab there is a selection to adjust GPU settings. I think you just select custom and raise your bus frequencies. I don't have the balls to try it though.
On a 9890 you need your floppy, niether flash drive or cd will work. The other option you have is to use nlite to slipstream the diver into your XP install, just google nlite. Hope this helps.
Does anybody have a working vista x64 modem driver for the D900K? Thanks
Does anybody have a working vista x64 modem driver for the D900K.
I had this problem until I installed the VIA Hyperion Pro Driver Package 5.11a, I have since tried the latest version as well (5.12a) and the s/d problem reappeared, so I have reverted back to (5.11a) and all is well. Hope this helps.
Yes, I just transformed my D900T into a D900K about a month ago and all is well.
Via just released new RAID & SATA Drivers Version - 5.50b, try it and see if that fixes your problem.
