Very slim chance it'll work. Given that the form factor is the same and the bios will recognize the card. If the bios doesn't recognize it you might as well forget about it.
Although I'm curious what the m6300 gets benchmark wise
There use to be a huge difference, but sadly I think both the xps and normal tech support are now based in india. I remember a year ago speaking to xps tech support was speaking to someone in the USA, but now everyones just seems to be indian.
I dont even know if its possible for a laptop/computer to cause usb devices to die which is why im asking. If so fine, but Im really scared to plug in my remaining 1 terabyte external hdd at this time.
Ok hear me out ever since I've gotten my laptop I've been getting problems, when they finally replaced my motherboard/ram/graphics card my system seemed to be fine. No previous problems where my system would randomly lock up and reboot or just flat out freeze.
Fast forward to this week. I hooked up my 500 gig external hard drive. It was working fine with no hitches prior to this. At first it was fine for a couple uses but then it started giving me read/write errors...
I agree dual 8700 gt sli does not equal a 7950 gtx, but yeah dell came through for you, well still in the process. It takes awhile yeah you have to be patient with this sort of thing.
As for Fenuxx I feel sorry for him, and wish him luck in dealing with dell. All the reps I've talked to have the intention of helping.
