I have tried to install Fedora Core RC2 on my M675 several times but with no luck. Install runs ok, but on reboot, it simply shutdown the machine! I'm fairly new to Linux admin stuff...so not sure if there are any tricks to at least...

I just got a M675X and was told that they would pop in a 128MB video card for me...but it came stock with the 64MB. I'm gonna call my sales rep and bitch at him to see if I can get an XL for a decent price. I got the M675X for ~$2300...

well, i got my notebook today! but it was a stock m675x model. they could not put the 128mb video card into the m675x for some reason...and could not make me a custom m675cs with the specs i wanted because that model did not come with...

As far as I know there's a 15% restocking fee if you return an open box. Otherwise I think it's 15 days unopened if you want a full refund. You might want to call up Gateway and find out for sure. Also, if you go to a Gateway...
