It use to take 60 seconds with the sony install and that has been cut in half to 30 seconds with the clean install.... What on my clean install list would you leave out?

I forgot to mention that the computer start-up time with a clean XP install was cut in half to 28 seconds. But after it started running it seemed just as fast as the Sony install. Has anyone had the experience?
