I love the power- I don't hate the fan noise, just seeing what I can do to improve on my machine- The fan is going back in later tonight, just another hour or so of testing without it to compare the temps.

I've been running it w/o the ram fan for an hour now...recording temps, playing some games, etc... I'll let you guys know what I find out

I've done that tutorial- doesn't help...

Has anyone tried just removing the tiny fan in the 8890? I'm if the ram would be ok...I have 2x 512 sticks, and I'm thinking I'm going to try this...any ideas?
